Whispering Light

Whispering Light is a black and white series that expresses a certain state of mind, which transpires at a specific time of year. These photographs deal with connections to places, objects, people, and memories. They depict personal experiences which form a visual diary. The melancholic feeling projected in the series is stimulated by the theme of winter, and the fluidity of light as it passes between indoor and outdoor spaces. Winter sun rays caress backgrounds of snow, bed sheets, puddles, and spilled milk, offering moments of reflection. Through the shades of gray, soft light whispers and conveys a shimmer of hope.
